Plans & billing
What your plan includes, what happens when you outgrow it, and how AI charges work.
What a plan controls
| Limit | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Storage | Total size of your library — source files plus encrypted streaming copies. |
| Bandwidth | How much video can be delivered to students each period. |
| Video count | How many ready videos you may hold. Unlimited on most plans. |
| Organization features | Sub-tenants and org API keys, on the Organization plan only. |
Plans are billed annually. Your current usage against each limit is on the Billing and Usage pages.
Changing plans mid-year
You do not lose what you have already paid for. When you switch between paid plans, the unused part of your current plan is credited against the new one, and you pay only the difference for the remainder of your term.
Before confirming, you are shown exactly what it costs: the prorated charge for the new plan, the credit for time left on the old one, and the amount actually due today. Your renewal date does not move.
Moving to a cheaper plan
Downgrading between paid plans works the same way. If the credit exceeds what the rest of the term costs, the surplus is held on your account and applied to your next invoice rather than refunded.
Returning to the free plan
That is a cancellation rather than a plan change, so it goes through Manage subscription. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Add-on packs
If you need more storage or bandwidth but not a bigger plan, buy a one-time add-on pack. Useful for a one-off batch of uploads or an unexpectedly popular launch.
Add-ons expire with your subscription
An add-on is tied to your current subscription period rather than lasting indefinitely. If you are regularly buying them, a larger plan is usually cheaper.
The AI wallet
AI features — transcription, translation, dubbing, study material — are charged per use from a prepaid wallet rather than included in your plan. You are billed for what each job actually consumes, so a twenty-minute lecture costs less than a two-hour one.
- Recharge in fixed packs from the Billing page.
- Every AI button previews its cost before you click.
- At zero balance the AI buttons are disabled; nothing else is affected.
- Wallet balance does not expire with your subscription period.
Start with one lecture
Before dubbing a whole course, run one lecture through end to end. You will see the real cost and can check the output quality for your subject before committing.
Payment problems
If a renewal fails your account is marked past due and you get an email. Update your card under Manage subscription. Videos keep playing during this window — we do not cut off students because a card expired.
Plan changes need a working card
While an account is past due you cannot switch plans, because the prorated difference cannot be charged. Fix the payment method first, then change plan.
Organization plan
The Organization plan adds sub-tenants: separate video libraries under one account, each with its own storage and usage tracking. It is built for platforms reselling to multiple institutes.
Sub-tenants are created through the API rather than the dashboard, which is read-only for them. See the API reference.
