Video statuses

Every video shows a status. Most editing tools only appear once it is ready.

Chapters

Chapters give students a jump list and put markers on the seek bar. On long lectures they are the single most useful thing you can add.

1. 1. Open the video and find Chapters

   Add a row for each section.

2. 2. Enter a start time and a title

   Times accept m:ss or h:mm:ss — so 4:30 and 1:04:30 both work.

3. 3. Save

   Students see the change on their next play. There is no need to re-embed.

Subtitles and captions

Upload a .vtt or .srt file with a language code and a label students will recognise. You can add as many languages as you like, and students pick from the player menu.

Alternate audio tracks

Add a dubbed or re-recorded soundtrack that plays over the same video. Students switch audio from the player menu without losing their place.

• Accepted formats: MP3, AAC, WAV, M4A, OGG.
• Maximum size: 200 MB per track.
• Tracks are encrypted just like the video.
• Mark one as the default so it plays first.

Language versions

Versions are for the same lecture recorded separately in another language — a Hindi batch and an English batch of the same class. Students get a version picker in the player.

Upload both videos normally, then open one and use Versions to link the other with a label such as हिंदी.

Thumbnails

Upload a custom thumbnail to replace the auto-generated frame. This is the image students see before they press play, so a readable title card tends to beat a random frame of you mid-sentence.

Replacing a file

Replace file swaps the video while keeping the same ID, title and embed codes — so every page you have already embedded it on picks up the new recording automatically.

Bulk actions

Tick the checkbox on any tile to open the selection bar. From there you can select everything matching your current view and delete in one go.

Exporting your library

The ↓ CSV button downloads titles and video IDs for the current folder, the folder including everything nested inside it, or your whole account. This is the quickest way to get IDs into a spreadsheet or an LMS bulk import.

Bulk-linking versions

If you have many videos to pair into language versions, prepare a CSV with columns video_id_1, label_1, video_id_2, label_2 and use Import versions. It always previews first, showing exactly which rows would be linked, skipped, or rejected, before anything is written.

Finding duplicates

Find duplicates scans for likely re-uploads and groups them with a confidence rating and an estimate of the storage being wasted.
